The workshop on the “History of Heralds” (Münster, 26-28 March 2014) gets its own blog!

HistoryofHeralds_leftAs stated in a former post, I’m convinced that the subject of heralds is not the subject of heraldry. Both topics have to be separated in order to avoid confusion. Thus, I decided to open a new blog on the “History of Heralds” that will accompany the workshop and book project dedicated to this subject. There you will find the programme of the workshop, abstracts and presentations of the upcoming papers as well as collections of ideas for the planned book project.

But first of all, this blog should become something of a platform of discussion for the participants and other scholars associated with the project as well as for all who are interested in the topic.

The “Heraldica nova” blog will consequently focus again on heraldry as such.
